Selection criteria

How applications are reviewed.

Applications are reviewed by JSaRC, ADS and relevant government stakeholders. Preference is given to proposals that demonstrate innovation, deliverability, operational relevance and the ability to contribute to a compelling visitor experience.

  • Alignment to strategic themes

    How closely the product maps to the 2027 themes.

  • Operational relevance and impact

    Evidence the capability addresses a real security challenge and delivers practical benefits.

  • Innovation and distinctiveness

    The novelty, quality and future potential of the capability.

  • Demonstrability

    How the capability can be presented safely and engagingly in a live scenario.

  • Evidence and credibility

    Case studies, evaluations, user feedback, operational outcomes and accreditations.
