What we do

Inside government. Working with industry. Focused on outcomes.

Established in 2016, the Joint Security and Resilience Centre is the UK Home Office's dedicated unit for partnering with the private sector and academia on the country's most complex security challenges.

Our purpose

JSaRC exists to help keep the UK safe by harnessing the talent, capability and innovation of the security sector. We sit between policy and practice — translating government need into industry opportunity, and industry capability into operational outcome.

We provide a single, trusted route for industry and academia to engage with the UK security community. From SMEs taking their first steps with government, to global primes delivering national programmes, we open doors and build the partnerships that matter.

How we work

Our small, expert team is drawn from across government, industry and the public sector. We bring sector knowledge, convening power and a deep understanding of national security requirements, and we apply them to programmes that deliver real-world impact.

Everything we do is built on collaboration, trust and a shared commitment to the UK's safety and prosperity.

Have a capability the UK security community should know about?
